The Manjara Charitable Trust has sponsored many educational institutions in the range of Marathwada at the beginning and now it is spreading up all over the state of Maharashtra. The number of educational institutions from K.G. to Graduate / Post Graduate degrees have been started to impart education in the faculties of Arts, Science and Commerce Education, Engineering etc.

The main object of the Trust is to eradicate the backwardness in the field of education and prepare the youngsters to accept the new challenges of the hours. Formerly, this Trust tried to cover the area of Marathwada and paved the way to the area of Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.

The Manjara Charitable Trust is founded by Hon'ble Late Shri. Vilasrao Deshmukh Union Ministerfor Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Government of India. His inspiring sprit of education and persistent efforts in this field helped the trust to prosper the various branches of education.

The Manjara Shetkari Shahkari Sakhar Karkhana Ltd. Vilasnagar, Chincholirao (Wadi), Tal. & Dist. Latur, made the remarkable progress and got challenging success in the field of Sugar Industry. With the same sprit and Zeal, this trust is entrusted to open new Educational Institutions in different part of the State, Manjara Charitable Trust has now undertaken the new programme and started Shrimati Sushiladevi Deshmukh Mahila Mahavidyalaya at Latur, right from Junior College to Senior College in the faculties of Arts, Science & Commerce in this backward area. Its progress is the special feature of this undertaking. Moreover, this trust is entrusted to provide education to the girls in general. In the short period, all the educational institutions have been flourished. It is noteworthy things that this trust has started Abhinav College of Education and Smt. Sushiladevi Deshmukh Mahila Junior College of Education. These two colleges have also achieved the grand success in the field of education.

In the jurisdiction of the Manjara Sugar Factory belt the trust has taken special interest to start nearly 10 high schools and primary schools. This endless effort leads to mark the education a welcoming among the villages. With this broad understanding, the educational developments in this district are very fast. In the State of Maharashtra, Latur pattern of Education achieved the unique success and became very popular and competent. This inevitable success is honorable and applaudable to this Trust. This kind of devotion of the Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Vilasraoji Deshmukh is more valuable.
